Recreational Vehicle Fire

At approximately 11:30 am on Wednesday, November, 23, 2022, a fire was reported in the 1200 block of Park Terrace Ave. Neighbors discovered a motorhome on fire next to the residence. Neighbors alerted the occupants and the occupants evacuated the residence. The first arriving fire company reported a fully engulfed motorhome less than 5 ft. from the residence.

Five Engine Companies and a Battalion Chief responded to the fire and gained control of the fire in 30 minutes. The fire did not extend to the residence. The occupants evacuated the house safely and there were no reported injuries to the firefighters. Crews remained on the scene additional 45 minutes conducting salvage operations. The cause of the fire undetermined.
