On Sunday, June 25 at approx. 9:50 P.M. Kingman Fire Department received a call for
service to the 3700 block of Cantle Dr. and when units arrived on scene the structure was
fully engulfed. The incident was upgraded to a 2 nd alarm. Assistance was then requested
from Northern Arizona Fire District, Golden Valley Fire District, and Pinion Pine Fire
District. Occupants were not home at the time of the incident and no fire personnel or
civilian injuries were reported. However, a black and white cat was still unaccounted for
when investigators left the scene. The cause of the fire has been deemed accidental.
