Residential Structure Fire With Fatalities

On Tuesday (3/2) at approximately 9:58 PM, personnel with the Northern Arizona Fire District, Kingman Fire Department and Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 9000 block of N. Bridlebit Ave. in reference to a residential structure fire. Upon arrival, the residence was found to be fully involved in fire.

After extinguishing the fire, the human remains of at least two people were located inside the residence. Detectives with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, along with fire investigators with the Kingman Fire Department, are currently investigating the fire and the investigation is ongoing. At this time, the cause of the fire and cause of death is actively being investigated. The identities of the two deceased is unknown at this time.
