Residential Trash and Recycling Collection Changes to Affect Some Residents

Starting Monday, August 2, 2021, Republic Services, is altering collection days for some Lake Havasu City residential customers to ensure timely service and a more even distribution of trash and recycling collection. Trash and recycling is still serviced on the same day, although approximate times and days of collection may change.

Starting the week of July 26, customers affected receive a mailed postcard from Republic Services explaining the changes to their service. Additionally, customers can view a residential map with changes to their pick up days on the City’s website at www.lhcaz.gov. It is very important that residents get their carts out the night before to avoid missing their driver in the early morning hours.

For further information regarding the changes to your collection day, please contact Republic Services at (928) 855-9441.
