It’s game time Bullhead City! Join the City as we celebrate the newly refurbished basketball court at Ken Fovargue Park. The celebration will be held on Friday, April 22 at 9 a.m. at 2255 Trane Rd. Bullhead City. After speeches and the ribbon cutting ceremony, the community is encouraged to grab a ball and head onto the new basketball court for some all-star fun.
“The basketball court at Ken Fovargue has been commonly known as “The Blue Court” for the last 15 years. The “Blue Court” is one of the most popular amenities in the entire park system,” said Parks Superintendent, Dave Heath. “We have seniors who do basketball workouts there, youth basketball team practices there, parents teach their kids their first basketball skills there and with so many schools nearby, it’s a perfect place for kids to have pickup games after school.”
The basketball court is open every day and lights stay on until the park closes at 11 p.m.
