Richard James Pagett

January 14th, 1986 – January 7th, 2019

Loving. Dedicated. Genuine. Thoughtful. Richard Pagett exemplified all of these traits, but he is best defined by his commitment to his family. If Richard was not at work, you could find him spending time with his wife and children. No matter how long of a day he had at work or how tired he was, wherever his children were when he came home, that is where you would find Richard. Most of the time, this would take him to the soccer field where he loved watching his kids play. If you asked him to describe his greatest achievement in his life, he would have pointed to his family.

Ultimately, Richard lived his life as if youth never left him. He was often times more excited than his children when going to Disneyland, playing with a new toy, watching cartoons, going to a national park, flying for the first time, building sand castles on the beach, hosting bonfires, or seeing animals at the zoo. As much joy as he got from doing all of these things, you could tell by the grin on his face that watching his children experience these little moments in life, ultimately brought him the most happiness.

Family was the core of Richard’s life and this included his extended Robinson Family that he loved to be a part of. He never missed an opportunity to share his kids with all of their grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. From the early morning soccer fields, to the mid-day trips to the Hualapai Mountains, and to the late night fire pits, Richard centered his life around those he loved and those who loved him.

Richard was a skilled carpenter and craftsman who enjoyed building things with his hands. There was not a job that he could not figure out and make look like a professional performed the work by the time he was done. He wanted nothing more than to please the people around him and it showed in the pride he took in all of the work he did. If you asked Richard to do it, he was going to do it right.

He was called up to spend eternity in heaven with God on January 7th, 2019 just seven days before his 33rd birthday. Richard is survived by his wife, Summer Pagett, his four children, Hailie, Dyllon, Deegan, and Uriah, his siblings, Ryan, Chelsie, and Julia, his grandmother Mary Custer, and his mother Lisa Bracamonte. Though his boys no longer have to fear being kicked in the balls and we are now all safe from his golf drive, he will be deeply missed by us all. Richard wasn’t perfect but he made our family perfect.

The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 11:00-12:00 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church 1664 Central Avenue , Bullhead City, AZ 86426.
