Robert L. Henderson (1934-2017)

Robert L. Henderson, age 83, a 12-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his home. He was born in Talledega Springs, Ala. on January 10, 1934.

Robert served in the Army from 1953 – 1956, he was a Staff Sergeant stationed in Alaska. He worked as an Industrial Engineer and Plant Manager for Robertshaw Controls in Long Beach, Calif., El Paso, Texas, Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Mexicali, Mexico. He retired after 30 years from Robertshaw on December 31, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Willis.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jeannette A. Henderson of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; sons, Jonathan Henderson of Lakewood, Calif., Stephen Finch of Wheat Ridge, Colo. and Anthony Henderson of Lummi Island, Wash.; daughters, Kimberly Terry of Boulder City, Nev. and Lisa Black of Kingman, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Mohave Valley United Methodist Church, 1593 Lipan Blvd., Fort Mohave, 86426.

Pastor Gene Stouffer will be officiating.
