KINGMAN, Ariz. – Construction for the Robinson Avenue waterline extension project will begin Monday, January 13, 2020, at 7:00 a.m., when Robinson Ave. will be closed to local traffic only, between La Salle Ave. and Western Ave. The closure will last until February 27, 2020, in order to replace the current waterline and fire hydrant.

Detours will be in place for the travelling public. There may be interruptions in water service near the end of construction in February, when new water services are being connected. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice will be provided to residents by the contractor.

The contractor is Kincheloe Construction, and all work is expected to be completed in 60 days. The total cost is $118,146.00.

Up-to-date street closures and restrictions can be found on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of Geographic Information Systems (Interactive Maps): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
