About 11:30pm last night (8/30), the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office received a call for help from three people (a 20-year-old female, a 31-year-old male and a 33-year-old male) who had rolled their CanAm UTV over while recreating in the Black Mountains (south of Highway 68). They were uninjured, but unable to continue and had no water or other supplies. They had called their family for help, but the family was unable to locate them. Search and Rescue was activated and began a route and location search. Rescuers located them and brought them back to the Command Post. Search and Rescue encourages everyone to travel with multiple vehicles when recreating in the remote and rugged wilderness areas of Mohave County – and bring plenty of supplies! Great job by everyone!
