SAR Attends Wildfire Safety Fair

Members of Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue proudly stand at their booth during the community wildfire safety fair at the Hualapai Mountain Resort that was organized by Mohave County Emergency Management for April 14, 2018. The search and rescue members displayed types of vehicles they utilize during missions, provided information on tools, equipment and common practices to educate the general public on proper trail safety. There are four MCSO SAR units – Kingman, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City and the Arizona Strip. In addition to MCSO Search and Rescue, multiple other agencies brought equipment and information to prepare the communities for wildfire threats to include, Pine Lake Fire, Pinion Pine Fire, BLM Fire, Kingman Fire, Arizona State Land Fire, Arizona Game and Fish, Mohave County Emergency Management and the Red Cross.
