Seven Finalists Announced For County Manager Interviews Next Week

KINGMAN, AZ (May 19, 2020) – These are the final seven candidates for the position of Mohave County Manager.

Scott Albert, Richardson, Texas;
Bassam (Sam) Elters, Phoenix, Arizona;
Yvonne Orr, Kingman, Arizona;
Ronda Perez, Lancaster, California;
Paul Van Haute, Eatonton, Georgia;
Timothy Walsh, Jr., Kingman, Arizona;
and David Williams, Prescott Valley, Arizona.

One of them will be replacing the current County Manager Mike Hendrix, who announced his retirement and will be leaving his position on June 30th. Each candidate will be interviewed and one will be selected by the five members of the Board of Supervisors. The interviews are scheduled for next week. There will be a face to face interview, or it will be by video if necessary. The interviews are held in executive session and the decision itself will follow in an open meeting. No further information will be released on the seven candidates at this time.
