SEXUAL ABUSE- GOLDEN VALLEY

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Michael Ray Wyckoff, 22 of Golden Valley, for felony Sexual Abuse and an active arrest warrant. On April 21, 2021 at approximately 12:30 AM, Deputies were called to a home in the 800 block of Escuela Rd. for an alleged sexual assault. The reporting party told deputies that her son, identified as Wyckoff, had sexually assaulted a family friend. The investigation revealed that the female victim had been sleeping on the floor when she awoke to someone touching her inappropriately.

The victim advised she pulled away from the suspect and ran to the bathroom. The victim identified the suspect as Wyckoff. Wyckoff was detained and placed into custody. When asked what happened, Wyckoff replied, “I did a bad thing.” When asked to elaborate on what he meant, Wyckoff told deputies he had touched the victim while she was sleeping. Michael Ray Wyckoff was arrested and booked into Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without incident. This investigation is ongoing.
