Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested Ronny David Melton, 31 of Winchester, CA, for two counts of Shoplifting, Removing a Theft Detection Device, Dangerous Drug Possession, and Drug Paraphernalia Possession, all felonies. Melton was stopped by store employees and deputies and escorted to the Asset Protection office, and a pat search revealed two baggies of a white crystal substance in his right pocket. Melton admitted to the substance being methamphetamine and weighed out to approximately 11.3 grams. The approximate value of the shoplifted items totaled $545.82 worth of merchandise. Ronny David Melton was arrested and transported to the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
