“SOAR” MSTEPP Opioid Awareness Art Exhibit: August 6 – September 11th
Kingman Center for The Arts in partnership with the MSTEPP program is proud to showcase their new art exhibit, “SOAR,” which opens Tuesday, August 6th at The Arthub in downtown Kingman (402. E Beale St).
SOAR is an education program that teaches students about the risks of opioid abuse and addiction and how the arts can be used as a coping mechanism for life’s challenges. KCA is excited to showcase all the art renditions made during the “SOAR” student outreach program in this upcoming art exhibit.
This show will feature several of our local schools’ young artists, including Kingman High School, Black Mountain Middle School, and groups from The Club for Youth. These students will be able to see their art professionally hung and displayed for their families and local community members to experience.
Kingman Center for The Arts invites all of our “SOAR” participants, family, friends, and supporters to join us August 6th 5-8pm for our First Friday artist reception. A video compilation of the session is available here https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=sRPGFmy27Tg
The Arthub hours are Tuesday – Thursday 11-5pm and Friday – Saturday, 11am-6pm. The Arthub also has a retail section brought to us by local artists.
