BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – April 14, 2022 – Bullhead City Police arrested Charles Curtis O’Donnell, 71, for stabbing a homeless woman he invited back to his apartment.
On Tuesday, April 12 at 9 a.m., O’Donnell reportedly picked up two homeless women in the 1700 block of Highway 95 and invited them back to his apartment, 400 block of Lee Avenue, to drink alcohol. It was reported to police that O’Donnell had made several comments to one of the women that he believed she was a male and no longer wanted to hang out with her.
The three of them continued to drink alcohol and they fell asleep in O’Donnell’s apartment.
On April 13 at about 1 a.m., O’Donnell reportedly stabbed the woman, age 56, who he’d been confronting, when she got up to get a drink of water. O’Donnell was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and aggravated assault causing serious physical injury.
