Street Fog Sealing Program

In an effort to preserve our roadways, The Lake Havasu City Public Works Department is announcing the start of its Fog Seal Program. This project is for three weeks and is starting Monday, November 9, 2020.  Approximately 600,000 square yards of street is being resurfaced in various locations throughout the City.

Residents and businesses, located along streets being improved, will receive a door hanger notice approximately five days in advance of the construction and again 24-hours prior to the work. The City asks that residents remove all vehicles from the streets and avoid releasing water into the street, during the time that they are scheduled for work.

As always, the public is requested to use caution when traveling through construction zones.  Traffic cones, arrows, and other devices will delineate travel lanes.  Motorists can expect some lane and access restrictions, as well as minor delays.
