In the early morning hours on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 01:50 AM, Engines 231, 221,311, 321, Battalion 2,Battalion 3 and AMR 35 were dispatched for a possible structure fire in the 800 block of Crestwood Ln. First arriving fire personnel found fire and smoke exiting the garage from a single family residence. Crews immediately began search and rescue and an offensive fire attack. Personnel found the area of origin in the garage and proceed to knock down the fire. Crews were able to quickly bring the fire under control from the interior and kept it from spreading into other areas of the home and attic. All residents were accounted for and no injuries were reported to residents or fire personnel. Fire personnel from both Kingman Fire and Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire were able to work jointly due to continued training with all fire agencies in the greater Kingman consortium. At this time the cause and loss figures are inconclusive. Investigators are on scene this morning, but the fire does appear to be accidental.
