On August 11, 2022 at 0130, the Northern Arizona Fire District (NAFD) and Kingman Fire (KFD) responded to a structure fire in the 2100 block of E. Packard Ave, Kingman AZ. NAFD responded with two (2) Engines, two(2) Water Tenders, Battalion Chief and Fire Chief. KFD responded with an engine and a Battalion Chief. Upon arrival, responding fire companies found a heavily involved attached garage/carport with fire extending to the doublewide manufactured home. A 2nd alarm was requested due to the exposures of the adjacent structures.

NAFD and KFD firefighters aggressively attacked the fire and protected the exposures. The house was a total loss. The house has been abandoned for several years.  There were no utilities at the structure. There were no reported injuries. The house has had recent criminal activity that is under investigation by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  The fire is suspicious and exact cause continues to be under investigation
