LAUGHLIN—Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center is announcing a new opportunity for collaboration with hospitals and physicians throughout the region to provide subspecialty care in the local community. This new access to advanced medicine for residents in Laughlin and Bullhead City is an extension of Sunrise Hospital’s longstanding commitment to treating thousands of Mohave County, Ariz. and Laughlin acutely ill patients at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas.
“By bringing specialized medicine closer to your home, our goal is to augment the expert care provided by primary care physicians, specialists and hospitals in Mohave County and Laughlin while adding a higher level of convenience for local patients,” said Todd P. Sklamberg, CEO of Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
The Advanced Medicine Center of Sunrise Hospital opened this spring at 3650 South Pointe Circle in Laughlin offering patients local follow-up acute care. Advanced medicine services include cardiovascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences and surgical weight loss.
WE NEED PEDIATRIC CARE!! I had to take my kids to Sunrise and all my son needed was an enema. WARMC asked if he had “mental illness” when appendix test was negative. My daughter has A.M.P.S (like fibromyalgia) and again WARMC said it was “mental illness”. Our kids have no voice and our parents have no options. Also, get AZ and NV certified physicians. I worked in AZ but lived in NV and it was a nightmare to even get care, period.
