Suspects Wanted In Connection To Saturday Shooting

BULLHEAD CITY–Authorities are searching for two suspects wanted in connection to a Saturday night shooting in Bullhead City.

Kristen Renee Schmitt, 30, of Golden Valley and James Francis Marlowe, 44, of Bullhead City are wanted on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon.

Bullhead City Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said Schmitt and Marlowe reportedly were driving a blue Cadillac CTS in an aggressive manner and chasing two victims, a male and female, throughout areas of the city late Saturday night.

After allegedly firing shots at the victim’s vehicle in the area of Lakeside Drive and Baseline Road, Schmitt reportedly smashed the victim’s window with a club and continued to strike the vehicle, hitting the male driver’s arm, said Fromelt.

The victim’s were able to elude the suspects by driving to the Bullhead City Police station on Marina Boulevard. Fromelt said the victims were not seriously injured and the female victim reported to police that she and Schmitt use to be friends.

Both Schmitt and Marlowe have temporary felony warrants for their involvement in the shooting and are being considered armed and dangerous.
