The Bullhead City School District will again temporarily restrict visitor access during classroom hours through August 12. Family members will not be allowed past school offices during the first two weeks of the school year, beginning August 1. This includes parents who wish to escort their children into classrooms. “This is not a new practice, but rather a friendly reminder for parents who may be new to the district or those whose children may be attending a different school than the previous school year,” said Superintendent Carolyn Stewart. “It is important during the first two weeks of school for students and their teachers to establish their routines and procedures.” “Parents will always be welcome during each campus’ Back to School night,” Stewart
noted. “These events are opportunities for parents and guardians to meet with teachers at the start of the school year.” Normal campus and classroom visitation procedures are expected to resume Monday, August 15, on all six BCSD campuses. Visitors must sign in and sign out at each school office. A full schedule of BCSD’s Back to School open houses is posted on the District’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/BCESD.
