The KCA Gallery brings in the New Year with “Time: Past, Present, Future” a themed Art Gallery show presented at the ArtHub: January 13 – February 26, 2022 Time: Past, Present, Future,” an Art Gallery show featuring Mohave County artists will open January 13th at the Arthub in downtown Kingman (402 E Beale St,).
Local (and some not so local) artists are exhibiting their most recent creations that have been rendered in multiple mediums – painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography and digital art,” stated Art Gallery Director, John Van Vliet. “Being a gallery that is here to serve the local creative community, we’re delighted that we’re also seeing an addition of newer artists who have chosen us to exhibit their work.”
This first show of 2022 showcases some impressive art pieces including a three foot high sculptor of a man running in a circle made entirely of sticks with accents of stones. Another large piece was created with twenty different pieces of custom designed fabric mounted on board and presents history through the millenniums. There is even a 4-layer art piece with LED lights.
Local artist Sharon Matheson shared that, “The ArtHub gives me exciting opportunities to show my own art and develop relationships with other artists and I feel it lives up to its name, a hub of the downtown area where traditions are cherished and new energy moves us forward.”
The KCA Gallery show “Time: Past, Present, Future” will run through Saturday, February 26th. The ArtHub is open Tues-Thurs 11-5 and Fri-Sat 11-6.
There is now an expanded gift shop at the ArtHub featuring items made by local artists including scarfs, ceramics, cards, painted boxes, etc..
Starting January 17, the entire exhibit will be on display in the Virtual Gallery at https://kingmanarts.org/the-gallery-at-kca-art-shows/
