Bullhead City, AZ — The River 250 Steering Committee has announced the availability of free vendor spaces for community businesses, nonprofits, and organizations as part of The River 250 – America 250 celebration at Gary Keith Park. The newly designated Vendor Zone will be integrated directly along the Self-Guided Historical Walkway, allowing vendors to engage with families and visitors as they move through the immersive historical experience. Vendor participation is being offered at no cost, reinforcing the event’s commitment to community inclusion, education, and accessibility.
The Self-Guided Historical Walk, developed in partnership with the Colorado River Historical Society Museum, features story boards, historical interpretation, and living historians that guide attendees through key moments of American history. Vendors placed along the route will complement the experience by creating natural gathering points throughout the park.
“This approach allows local organizations and businesses to be part of the storytelling rather than separated from it,” said representatives of The River 250 Steering Committee. “By integrating vendors into the walkway, we are strengthening community connection while enhancing the overall visitor experience.”
The River 250 celebration also includes 1776 reenactments presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution at the McCormick Performing Arts Pavilion, along with additional patriotic and educational programming. Community vendors interested in participating are encouraged to contact info@theriver250.com for details and space availability.
