LAKE HAVASU CITY—Three people with Lickity Split Boating are reportedly in critical condition following a high speed boat crash during the Desert Storm Poker Run event in Lake Havasu City.

“We have confirmed that the Lickity Split DCB 35-foot cat crashed following today’s Desert Storm Poker Run Shootout,” wrote Speedonthewater.com on their Facebook page. “Three people were in the boat and all three were rescued and are in critical condition.”

The boating organization identified the boat operator as Brad Kloepfer, of Lake Havasu City.

The crash happened at Contact Point bear South Basin, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reported. It’s alleged the boat was traveling at speeds over 150 miles per hour during the Shootout when it rolled.

Earlier, scanner traffic indicated a male subject had been pulled out of the water and lifesaving techniques were being performed.
