NEEDLES–A Needles man is facing child endangerment charges after his two-year-old was reportedly found wandering alone outside an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Clary Drive.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office arrested Daniel Anderson, 32, on August 20 after someone reportedly contact the law enforcement agency referencing a found child. The child was reportedly walking around the complex with no supervision or parents around. Officers reportedly discovered the father, identified as Anderson, asleep on the couch with the front door wide open.
Anderson was reportedly found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and deputies allegedly found methamphetamine inside the apartment, within reach of children.
Anderson was taken to the SBCSO Colorado River Station and held on a $100,000 bond pending a court hearing.
The child was released to the custody of the mother and Child Protective Services were notified.
