FORT MOHAVE, Ariz. – April 20, 2023 – Bullhead City Police MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team) detectives arrested Nathan Wayne Lawrence, 41, for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, transportation of dangerous drugs for sale, and aggravated DUI.

On Thursday, April 20 at approximately 2 a.m., Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies attempted a traffic stop for expired registration near the intersection of Aztec Road and Highway 95 in Fort Mohave. The suspect – Nathan Lawrence – failed to stop and fled from pursing officers, which also included the AZ Department of Public Safety. MAGNET assisted in locating Lawrence, who was hiding at a known friend’s house in the 4400 block of Calle Viveza in Fort Mohave.
Lawrence was in possession of approximately half a pound of methamphetamine. He was also found to be driving under the influence of drugs, while recklessly fleeing from pursuing law enforcement agencies, including traveling in the oncoming lane of traffic.

Lawrence will be booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. He also faces additional charges from both MCSO and AZ DPS for fleeing from law enforcement.
