TRASH TRUCK TAKES DOWN POWER LINE AND POLE CAUSING OUTAGE

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – On Friday, July 28, at 9:44 a.m. a trash truck hit a power line, tearing down one power pole. This outage affected 128 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members and occurred in the Topock area along Kofa Lane.

MEC crews responded, isolated the damaged pole and line to make repairs and restore power to 121 members at 11:31 a.m. The remaining members were restored at 5:14 p.m. after the one damaged pole was replaced.
