Bullhead City & Lake Havasu Arizona
If you had a real Christmas tree this year and are wondering what to do with it;

Bullhead City free Christmas tree drop off. This year we have added a location at Community Park (near the northwest corner of Highway 95 and Laughlin Ranch Blvd.) in addition to our traditional location in Rotary Park (at the northeast corner of Riverview and Balboa)! We will chip the trees and turn them into mulch for various parks projects.

Lake Havasu Parks & Recreation will accept discarded Christmas trees from Friday (Dec. 27) through Sunday (Jan. 12). The drop-off location is across from the Aquatic Center located at 100 Park Ave. The trees will be composted into mulch and used as organic cover throughout city parks. Residents may help themselves to the mulch free of charge. Christmas trees must remain whole and free of ornaments, lighting, tinsel, etc. Please do not bring any other trash such as yard trimmings, artificial Christmas trees, appliances, household items, etc.
Questions can be directed to the Parks & Recreation Department at 453-8686.
