UPDATE (6/22/2020): AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON DEPUTY- FORT MOHAVE
On Sunday (6/21) at approximately 11:56 PM, a Deputy with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office attempted to conduct a traffic stop and was shot at by a person inside the vehicle. After the shooting occurred, the vehicle drove away. Mohave Silent Witness originally offered a reward of $750 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Mohave Silent Witness has now increased the reward amount to $2,000.
The Mohave Silent Witness group is a non-profit organization dedicated to the apprehension of wanted suspects through the posting of rewards. Reward money is raised through fund raisers and private donations. The group is managed and operated by an independent board, separate from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone wanting to donate to the reward offered for this specific incident can send a check to Mohave Silent Witness, P.O. Box 6805, Kingman, AZ 86402. Pleas ebe sure to add “Fort Mohave” to the memo line of the check.
