We wanted to provide an update on our restoration efforts in the Fort Mohave area, where service has been restored to affected customers.

We’ve made significant progress on repairs and were able to restore service to about 120 customers in the Sunrise Villas community this afternoon at about 3 p.m.

We also successfully installed large portable generators in the area, restoring service to more than 670 customers in the Sunrise Vista community. Because portable generators aren’t designed to provide reliable power for residential use over long periods, we’re advising customers that intermittent outages are possible until we finalize repairs to our local grid this weekend.

As you’re aware, Sunday’s storm blew down or damaged more than 60 power poles in the area. Repairs will continue through Saturday. We very much appreciate the patience of our customers.
