On Sunday, May 24, 2020, W. Kay German, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at the age of 82, in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Kay was born on November 17, 1937, in Sergeant, Nebraska to Walden and Dorothy Pierce. She attended Hollywood High School and had some college. On September 9, 1958, she married G. Dale German after meeting while both were working in Hollywood, California. They raised two daughters, Connie and Tracy, and one son, Daniel aka Logan. Miss Kay, after her family was grown, raised her great-nieces, Nicole and Sarah.
Kay was a hard worker she drove an industrial catering truck in Los Angeles, California for a major portion of her working career. She was one-of-a-kind. She enjoyed gardening, taking things apart to see how they worked, digging in the dirt, and animals. Her animals have included a raccoon, pigeon, horses, goats, and ferrets. Her love for ferrets will never be forgotten. She loved musicals, and Broadway plays. She was known for her spontaneous actions, wonderful spirit, and overall unpredictability.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, father, Walden, mother, Dorothy, and stepfather John, and Sister Eleanor. She is survived by her loving children, Connie, Tracy, and Daniel aka Logan. Five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Kay will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Chaparral Country Club, June 28th, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
