WANTED -Liquor Thieves

Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are currently seeking information on a male subject wanted in connection to multiple shopliftings and an attempted burglary in the Kingman area. On Friday (9/20) at approximately 4:11 PM, Deputies responded to a business in the 2900 block of Northern Ave. in Kingman in reference to a shoplifting incident. The employees advised that a male subject entered the business and placed two liquor bottles into his waistband without paying for the items, and exited the store. Video surveillance was observed and confirmed the observations. The employees stated they recognized the male as the suspect in a burglary attempt on from the night prior, where an entry alarm to the business had been activated.

On Saturday (9/21) the employees contacted deputies again, stating the male subject had returned and attempted to steal more liquor bottles, and was chased from the store by employees. The male subject ran to a grey sedan with a moon roof, and employees observed a similar looking white male was driving the vehicle.

During the course of the investigation, the male subject has been identified as David Aaron Woods, 45 of Kingman. Woods is a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, with short hair, a beard, tattoos on one forearm, and a southern accent. David’s brother Alvin Woods, is also being sought out for questioning regarding these incidents. Deputies discovered that the Woods brothers are known transients with no consistent residence.
