WARNING – PHONE SCAMS

Today the Kingman Police Department has received several phone calls from citizens regarding another attempted phone scam.
The citizens reported that the male caller advised that he was “Sgt. Michael Bradford” from the Kingman Police Department. They advised the citizen that they missed court today, and that he was sending police to arrest them right now unless they paid the fine over the pone. The phone number used in the scam was calling from was 928-460-5703.
The Kingman Police Department DOES NOT conduct business in this manner. If you receive these calls, we suggest you hang up the phone immediately and do not give out any personal information. Protect yourself, your assets, and your identity by not giving any information to these callers.
Scams can be reported to the Kingman Police Department by dialing the non-emergency number 928-753-2191.
