White Cliffs Middle School Vocalists Hit Many High Notes at State Festival

Showcasing the best middle school vocalists in Arizona, seven White Cliffs Middle School choir members were selected by nomination for the prestigious Arizona Music Educators Association’s All-State Middle School Honor Choir. 100 highly achieving young vocalists from across the state gathered on March 19, 2022 at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona. The state’s best choir students rehearsed during the daylong festival and performed in concert along with All-State Honor Orchestras.

White Cliffs Middle School’s Choir Director, Michael Santmyer, said, “I am proud of their hard work, dedication, and musicality.” Kingman Unified School District #20 has a long-standing tradition of excellence in music programming from elementary to high school in band, choir & general music. KUSD strives to develop each student’s potential through the Four A’s – Academics, the Arts, Athletics, & Activities.
