BHCPD: 20-Year-Old Traded Drugs For Stolen Property

BULLHEAD CITY—A local man is being accused of selling drugs in exchange for stolen property. 

Emmanuel Beltran-Mejia, 20, is facing charges of possession of narcotic drugs, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and misconduct involving weapons.

Bullhead City Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said officers conducting a separate investigation received information there was drug activity and stolen property at a home in the 1800 block of Granada Drive, where Beltran-Mejia resided. 

On Monday, detectives served a warrant on Beltran-Mejia’s residence where police reportedly uncovered six grams of heroin, two stolen motorcycles, stolen Xbox game system, stolen revolver handgun and numerous drug paraphernalia items, said Fromelt. 

Beltran-Mejia placed under arrest and taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.
