The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River is proud to announce that our very own Youth of the Year, Rebekah, was celebrated at State Farm Stadium as a guest attendant at the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Eve. She was among other Youth of the Year recipients from across Arizona. The experience was amazing as they were given field passes for the opening ceremonies and the kickoff. They mingled with the Master of Ceremonies, Big E, and had fun on the sidelines.

Her experience, in her words: “My experience as Youth of the Year was awesome. Yes, it could be stressful, but at the end of the day it was worth it. I met so many great friends and people along the way. While being Youth of the Year, I enjoyed so many great opportunities and experiences, even towards the end of the year. Being Youth of the Year is definitely one of the best things that has ever happened to me.”

As the highest honor bestowed by the Boys & Girls Club, the Youth of the Year program celebrates extraordinary young leaders who embody the values of leadership, service, and personal growth. Rebekah has shown unwavering commitment to creating a positive impact within the Club and the broader community. This prestigious award recognizes exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to service among our youth members.

As a member of the Bullhead City Club for three years, Rebekah excels academically, participates in STEM workshops and Project Learn, and demonstrates a passion for mentoring younger members and being a role model amongst her peers. “Rebekah truly represents the best of what our Club stands for—positivity, resilience, and the drive to make a difference,” said Autumn Boyle-Robinson, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River.
