Bullhead City Fire Department Sets Up Community Risk Reduction Safety Fair on October 12th
Bullhead City, AZ – The Bullhead City Fire Department is inviting all residents to its annual Community Risk Reduction Safety Fair at the Anderson Auto Group Field House on October 12th from 9am to 12pm.
In collaboration with the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®), an organization that has been the official sponsor of Fire Prevention Week for over nine decades, the fire department is keen to educate the public about the promotion of this year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign themed “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You!” The campaign runs from October 6th to 12th.
The drive focuses on sharing knowledge about simple but essential actions citizens can perform to ensure their safety and that of those around them. Participants not only get to uphold their safety, but also act responsibly and empowered by understanding the sounds of fire safety.
The Community Risk Reduction Safety Event promises to be both enlightening and entertaining, with more than 20 Fire Prevention and Life safety booths in place. These include hands-on cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), water safety measures, car seat safety demonstrations, a mini firefighter skills area, and an exhibition of emergency response vehicles, including a helicopter.
Children aged 2 to 12 years have the chance to win exciting prizes through a raffle prize drawing.
For more information, please contact the Community Risk Reduction Division at 928-758-3971.
The Bullhead City Fire Department is hoping for a strong turnout from the community, and is excited to share invaluable life-saving safety tips with all attendees.
