BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – September 23, 2026 – Bullhead City Police arrested a man after counterfeit and fraudulent documents were found inside his hotel room.

On Tuesday, September 22 at about 12 noon, officers arrested Daniel Christopher Kleinow, 51, of Upland, CA, in the 1300 block of Silver Creek Road for an outstanding misdemeanor failure to appear warrant from Bullhead City Justice Court. Shortly after his arrest, detectives returned to Kleinow’s hotel room following a report from hotel management regarding suspected counterfeiting items.

Detectives searched the room and recovered dozens of items associated with the production of fraudulent identification and financial documents. Items seized included more than 60 fraudulent identification cards, forged checks, forged bank statements, forged vehicle titles, and various forgery equipment, such as printers and tap-to-pay card devices.

Kleinow was additionally arrested for forgery of a credit card and forgery. The investigation into this fraudulent operation remains ongoing, and more charges and arrests are expected.

Kleinow has been booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
