BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. – December 24, 2023 – The Bullhead Fire Department was dispatched to the report of a brush fire at approximately 12:40 p.m. this afternoon, which was quickly upgraded to a working commercial fire at Daniels Septic on Outpost Dr. with heavy black smoke showing. Arriving crews quickly confirmed that the building was clear and began an aggressive fire attack. Due to higher wind conditions and a heavy fire load, the fire quickly spread throughout the building; firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the main structure with assistance from the Mohave Valley Fire Department, Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department, and the BCFD CERT team.

Mohave Electric Cooperative and Southwest gas technicians also responded to the scene to secure utilities in the area. No injuries were reported during this incident. Unfortunately, the building suffered a roof collapse and was unsalvageable. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
