BULLHEAD CITY, AZ., July 25, 2024—Bullhead City Utilities is responding to a Water Main break near the Sierra Vista Dr and Ramar Rd intersection. Earlier today, a contractor hit an eight-inch water main in front of 1668 Sierra Vista Dr. This is an evolving situation, and many details are not yet known.

Bullhead City Utilities estimates that the water main repairs will be completed in the late evening today and is actively working to assess the full extent of the damage, gain an accurate picture of the disruption’s effects on customers, and repair the system as quickly as possible.

Bullhead City Utilities will shut off a well site in the area to complete the repairs. Commercial customers along Highway 95 from Marina Drto Ramar Rd may experience drops in water pressure and outages. Customers along Sierra Vista Dr between Ramar Rd and Alta Vista Dr will be without water service until the repair is finalized. The service disruption may also affect customers north and east of the water main break.

For inquiries about ongoing projects throughout the city, contact Mackenzie Covert, Public Information Officer, at mcovert@bullheadcityaz.gov or (928) 763-0182.
