BULLHEAD CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

THREATENING/INTIMIDATING—Walter Thomas Phinney, 73, was arrested May 3 in the 1600 block of DeAngelis Avenue on suspicion of threatening and intimidating. On May 2, Phinney reportedly called and left a voicemail at a medical facility—in the 2500 block of Canyon Road—threatening to bring dynamite or a gun to his next appointment. He was contacted by police at his residence on DeAngelis Avenue and arrested. Phony was booked, cited and held for court, where he was later released on his own recognizance.

DRUGS—A 17-year-old male was arrested on May 3 at Mohave High School on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana on school grounds. The minor reportedly was in the school office for allegedly making threats. He reportedly had a marijuana cigarette in his possession. Police state the threats complaint will be followed up at a later time. The male was released to his parent.

HIT & RUN NON-INJURY—Edward Joseph Hammersmith, 50 was arrested on May 3 in the 1600 block of Highway 95 on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident. Hammersmith reportedly struck a vehicle in the area of First Street and Moser Avenue. No injuries were reported. He was cited and released at his residence.

THREATENING/INTIMIDATING—Robert Emil Kievit, 45, was arrested May 3 in the 200 block of Havasu Cove on suspicion of threatening and intimidating per domestic violence. Police state roommates of Kievit called police to report the suspect threatening them. He was reportedly upset over the roommates allegedly letting his dogs out. Animal Care & Welfare took custody of 12 dogs, two turtles and five cats. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

WARRANT—Steven Lee Pace, 58, was arrested May 3 in the 3100 block of Highway 93 on a warrant issued by the Arizona Department of Patrol Safety.

UNREASONABLE NOISE—Kevin John Pace Jr., 33, was arrested May 4 in the 1700 block of Tejon Drive on suspicion of making unreasonable noise. Officers responded to the area for a report of a man yelling and hitting a chain linked fence. Pace was contacted and arrested. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

MOHAVE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE:

DRUGS—Anthony Michael James Smith, 28, and Diamond Crystal Loader, 24, were arrested May 2 in the 3700 block of Ryan Avenue in Kingman. Deputies reportedly noticed a vehicle parked and made contact with the male driver, a female passenger, and a male subject in the back seat. The driver identified himself and stated he was giving a friend a ride, but didn’t know where the residence was located. Deputies observed all occupants of the vehicle appeared nervous and kept moving around. All occupants were removed from the vehicle, and a pat search of Loader reportedly revealed marijuana cigarettes in a jacket pocket. Loader advised deputies she had a medical marijuana card, but did not have the card on her. A search of Loader’s purse allegedly revealed three glass pipes with methamphetamine residue. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, heroin, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia. Loader and Smith reportedly denied any of the items located in the vehicle belonged to them. Smith was arrested on suspicion of narcotic drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession. Loader was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession, dangerous drug possession and drug paraphernalia possession. Both taken to the Mohave County jail.

FAILURE TO REGISTER—Raymond Charles Strauss, 47, was arrested on May 3 on suspicion of failure to change address of sex offender registrant. Deputies were reportedly contacted by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Register, who advised that Strauss had not provided her with an updated address and his driver’s license was expired, which also contained an outdated address. Deputies responded to the registered address and spoke with Strauss’s brother, who reportedly said Strauss had moved out of his house in March. Deputies reported to a residence Strauss was rumored to be staying at and reportedly noticed Strauss and a female subject in a vehicle in front of the residence. When asked where he was currently living, Strauss reportedly told deputies he was living at his registered address. When deputies advised they had spoken with his brother and knew that to be a lie, Strauss reportedly told deputies he “bounces around” because he has a heart condition and has to have someone with him at all times. Strauss was taken to the Mohave County jail.

FRAUDULENT SCHEMES/ DRUGS—Cornelius Angsuco, 38, and Hannah Marshall, 25, were arrested May 3 on suspicion of forgery of a credit card, fraudulent schemes and drug paraphernalia possession. Deputies reportedly received a call from a female victim in Maryland reporting her credit card had been used at various local businesses in Fort Mohave. Deputies responded to the businesses to obtain video confirmation of the credit card use. Video footage revealed a male attempting to use the card via his cell phone, but it was declined. Another business advised deputies the same thing happened at their business, with the card also being declined. A completed transaction was confirmed at a local liquor store. The victim reportedly called deputies again to advise the subjects were at a pawn store on Highway 95 and Aztec Road in Fort Mohave. Deputies responded and noticed a male and female subject exiting the store. Both were identified as Angsuco and Marshall. A search of the vehicle reportedly revealed several gift and prepaid cards and a methamphetamine pipe. Deputies reportedly found several receipts inside the vehicle, one of which confirmed the purchase from the liquor store. Deputies also found several bags of retail purchases in the trunk. Both were taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman. The case has been forwarded to detectives for additional investigation.

LAKE HAVASU CITY POLICE:

DRUGS—Lindsay Joy Whitney, 34, was arrested May 3 in the 3000 block of Jamaica Boulevard South on suspicion of dangerous drug-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DRUGS—Ashley Lynn Fisher, 27, was arrested May 3 in the 1700 block of Acoma Boulevard West on suspicion of dangerous drug-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DRUGS—Jonathan William Sisk, 34, was arrested May 3 in the 1700 block of Acoma Boulevard West on suspicion of dangerous drug-possess/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT/FIGHTING—Christopher Jonathan Knight, 35, was arrested on May 3 in the 2100 block of McCulloch Boulevard North on suspicion disorderly conduct-fighting and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING—Jonathan Edward Arvizu, 39, was arrested May 3 in the 500 block of McCulloch Boulevard on suspicionn of criminal trespassing-1st degree of a residential structure. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

FAILURE TO COMPLY—Steven Ray Hayden, 42, was arrested May 3 in the 400 block of London Bridge Road on suspicion of failure to comply. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE/DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Bradley Kenneth Hall, 53, was arrested May 3 in the 3400 block of Whitecap Drive on suspicion of criminal damage-deface and disorderly conduct-fighting. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

FAILURE TO COMPLY/FALSE REPORTING—Matthew Robert Hrynewycz, 26, was arrested May 3 in the 2000 block of Mesquite Avenue on suspicion of failure to comply and false reporting to law enforcement. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

EXTREME DUI—Donald Edward Dandurand, 57, was arrested May 3 in the 2200 block of Acoma Boulevard West/Industrial Boulevard on suspicion of driving under the influence-liquor/drugs/vapors/combo; DUI w/blood alcohol level of .08 or more; Extreme DUI w/BAC .15 to .20; and Extreme DUI-w/BAC greater than .20 percent. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT—Rown P. Brown, 52, was arrested on May 4 in the 1900 block of Acoma Boulevard West on suspicion of disorderly conduct-fighting. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

DANGEROUS DRUGS—Justin Ian Crist, 20, was arrested May 4 in the 3800 block of Trotwood Drive and Pueblo Drive on suspicion of dangerous drug-posses/use and drug paraphernalia-possess/use. He was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kingman.

KINGMAN POLICE DEPARTMENT:

DRUGS—Tamera Debbie Jean Thorns, 23, was arrested May 3 in the 600 block of East Andy Devine Avenue on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and driving with a revoked driver license. Officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Thorns. A records check showed Thorns to have a revoked license. A search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Mohave County jail in Kignman.
