The district 2 Mohave County supervisor debate is scheduled for July 9th at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse with or without all candidates. Confirmed by Michelle Bemelman, Executive Administrative Assistant to the Colorado River Union High School District #2, the event will take place with or without all candidates.  “The debate is still going ahead Tuesday, July 9th at 6 pm as planned. As of now, I have confirmation that Rich Lettman and William “Scotty” McClure will both be attending.” Michelle Bemelman said in a response to The Buzz email inquiry. Grace Hecht is the only candidate yet to respond to the request. If she fails to attend this will be the second and final attempt for public debate that Candidate Hecht has declined to participate in calling to question her ability to truly represent the people of Mohave County and Bullhead City.  We received no response from Grace Hecht from the previous debate date regarding her position on attending the debate.  (Email from June 21st, 2024 with no response)
