Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are looking for a dog for standard quarantine procedures after a dog bite.
This morning (8/10/23), ACW was dispatched to an Urgent Care office where a man was being treated for a dog bite. It was reported that at approximately 6:30 a.m., a black Shar Pei type dog ran up to the victim in the dog park at Community Park, and bit him on the arm. The dog owner advised his name was “Doug” and his dog was up to date with shots.

ACW is required to verify this information and is hoping to locate the dog/owner for quarantine procedures.

If anyone has any information, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at (928) 763-1999, reference report# 23-25470.
