Educator of the Week–5/21/18

Written by The Bee

May 21, 2018

Each Monday we will feature a local citizen who dedicates themselves in the education field within Mohave County. Whether they are teachers, bus drivers, crossing guards or lunch room attendants, The Bee will feature them in our special weekly section.
This week’s “Educator of the Week” is Kristen Roemer, a second-grade teacher at Diamondback Elementary School in Bullhead City.
Roemer was nominated by Christina Johnson, who had this to say about her nominee:
“he is honestly the best teacher, she motivates the children, she pushes them when needed. She creates a safe and comfortable environment for the children and she always finds a way to keep them engaged in their subjects. She has taught two of my girls and I would love to see her recognized.”
To nominate someone in this field, email us at [email protected] their name, what area in the education field they work, school or college name, contact number (if possible), photo and a short bio on the individual.
