Fatal Traffic Accident

On March 12, 2023, little after 5:30pm Northern Arizona Fire District was dispatched to the area of Mike’s Route 66 Outpost for a report of a two Vehicle Traffic Accident with injuries.

NAFD responded a Brush truck, and Battalion Chief to the area.

First unit arrived on scene located two vehicles, One off the side of the road and one vehicle in the middle on the road. Once the crew was able to assess the scene, they called for an additional Engine crew and 2 more ambulances.

Three patients were transported by ground to the hospital to Kingman Regional Medical center with non-life-threatening injuries. One patient did succumb to her injuries at the scene.

The Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into the crash and we have no farther details at this time.
