Fraud, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misconduct Involving Weapons Prohibited Possessor

On Monday, January 15th, at about 3:00pm, the Kingman Police Department arrested Kimberly Ann Rubio, 34 and David Christopher Turner-Thompson Jr, 31 both of Kingman on the charges of Fraudulent Schemes, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misconduct Involving Weapons / Prohibited Possessor.  Officers responded to a business in the 3300blk of North Stockton Hill Road for a report of subjects attempting to return stolen merchandise.  After employees of the business became suspicious, Rubio and Turner-Thompson exited the business and went to their vehicle when they were contacted by officers.  Rubio and Turner-Thompson admitted their involvement with the fraudulent return and were taken into custody. A search of their vehicle revealed a handgun and drug paraphernalia.  Rubio and Turner-Thompson were booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the listed charges.
