FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lake Havasu City, AZ, October 2, 2019 –

In their ongoing commitment to fostering a strong community, Lake Havasu City Mayor Cal Sheehy and City Manager Jess Knudson invite all residents to come out for coffee and conversation this Friday, October 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The highlight of this month’s meeting is the spirit day in support of Lake Havasu High School Fighting Knights football team. The officials encourage attendees to don purple – the team color – for this meeting. The Fighting Knights are all set for their first home conference game scheduled for later that evening.

The meeting will be held at the Council Chambers located at 92 Acoma Boulevard South. It aims to keep residents apprised about the latest happenings in the city, provide details on current and future city projects, and create a platform for feedback. It’s an excellent opportunity for both long-term residents and newcomers to Lake Havasu City to engage in vibrant discourse about the city they call home.

The spirit of the community is all set to shine as Lake Havasu City showcases its support for its young athletes. The city officials look forward to welcoming residents and sharing coffee, conversation, and community spirit.

Lake Havasu City proves yet again, “We’ve got spirit, yes we do! We’ve got spirit, how ’bout you?”
