LHCPD Releases Memorial Day Weekend 2025 Statistics

The Lake Havasu City Police Department has published the statistics for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, spanning from Friday, May 23rd to Monday, May 26th, 2025. During this period, the department managed 904 calls for service and executed 93 arrests. Of these arrests, 55 individuals were booked into the LHCPD jail, 34 received citations and were released, and four juveniles were referred and subsequently released. Additionally, seven of the arrests involved felony charges.

Traffic safety remains a primary concern during holiday weekends in Lake Havasu City. Thanks to a grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, the LHCPD conducted enhanced traffic and DUI enforcement. This year’s efforts led to the arrest of 19 DUI offenders, three of which were categorized as aggravated (felony). The LHCPD conducted civil traffic stops involving 370 drivers, resulting in the issuance of 96 traffic citations.
