Mohave County Animal Shelter Needs your Support

Recently the Mohave County Animal Shelter here in Kingman received 43 dogs from an animal hoarder in Dolan Springs. They are asking for help to shelter these dogs until they are able to find them new homes. Please see the list below for the specific needs they are asking for. They are also asking for dog igloos and dog houses to keep them out of the elements.

If you are not able to take your items into town, please feel free to drop them off at the Valle Vista Administrative Office or Truxton Canyon Water Co. and we will be sure to get your donations there for you.

Items we need: 

Canned dog food (Pedigree preferred)

Canned puppy food (Pedigree preferred)

Canned cat food (Friskies Pate preferred)

Dry Cat or Kitten Food (Friskies or Purina Preferred

Cat Litter

Horse Pellets from Tractor (We use as cat litter)

Laundry detergent

Dish detergent

Bleach killing 99.9% germs

Dog Treats

Cat Treats

Used towels, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, washcloths

Gift Cards: Petsmart, Walmart, Cal Ranch, Petco, Tractor Supply, Or Local Grocery Stores
