Mudshark Brewing’s “The BUZZ Honey Lager” secured the Silver Medal in the competition, underscoring the brewery’s dedication to crafting outstanding and innovative brews.

The National Honey Board’s “Honey Beer Competition” is a highly regarded event in the craft beer industry, featuring over 300 beers from across the country, competing in 12 distinct categories. This year’s competition was sanctioned by the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP), ensuring a fair and rigorous evaluation of entries.

Mudshark Brewing’s “The BUZZ Honey Lager” shone brightly amidst fierce competition in the Best Honey Lager category, clinching the Silver Medal. This recognition underscores the brewery’s commitment to producing exceptional brews that celebrate the unique flavors and qualities of local Kingman Arizona honey as a key ingredient.

We did this in collaboration with a local news marketing agency called “The BUZZ in Your Community” who designed the can and worked to supply the local honey from area beekeepers.  Using local honey through the process was a key factor to our mission to continue to be as earth-conscious with our brewing process. Together with our solar powered brewery, water re-purposing and saving systems, we are doing our part to keep making great beer while being kind to our planet.”
